Until February 2017, I was working for a small US based IT company in Mumbai. I’m basically from Hyderabad. My Company had their own Product developed on java. I was a Lead Java developer. I worked with this company for almost 4 years. I was the core person who developed most of that product. Product got released last year and the company had couple of leads and they were in a very good profits.

Suddenly, My Managing director called me into his cabin and started discussing all the things about the company, its profits, investments, e.t.c. and ended up saying that they had some financial problem. He asked me to resign officially and released me from my position in 3 days. They Gave me 45 days paid salary as a compensate.

突然，我的總經(jīng)理叫我到他的辦公室，開(kāi)始討論公司的所有事情，包括利潤(rùn)、投資等等，最后他說(shuō)公司遇到了一些財(cái)務(wù)問(wèn)題。他要求我正式辭職，并在三天內(nèi)解除了我的職位。他們給了我45天的帶薪工資作為補(bǔ)償。

I still remember that day, i went straight to a near by park sat down for couple of hours, self-uated a lot of things, Nothing was going into my mind. I was in so much panic. Not sure how people gonna treat me if they get to know about this.

我仍然記得那天，我徑直走到附近的一個(gè)公園，坐了幾個(gè)小時(shí)，自我評(píng)估了很多事情。我腦子里一片空白，非?？只?。我不確定如果人們知道了這件事會(huì)怎么對(duì)待我。

I went back home and discussed the same with My Wife, had a call with my Mom and Dad who were back home in Hyderabad. They were in shock and my wife started crying. I have a 3 month old baby girl when this thing happened.

我回到家后和我的妻子討論了這件事，并給我在老家海得拉巴的父母打了電話(huà)。他們非常震驚，我的妻子開(kāi)始哭泣。當(dāng)這件事發(fā)生時(shí)，我有一個(gè)三個(gè)月大的女兒。

For next 2–3 days, i was just at home spent time with my little baby, tried to talk to all my friends over phone call and discuss my situation. Shared resume’s across the network i had . Friends mainly. Naukri, Shine, Timesjobs everywhere i had my resume upxed.

在接下來(lái)的兩到三天里，我只是在家里和我的小寶寶一起度過(guò)，試圖通過(guò)電話(huà)與所有朋友交談并討論我的情況。我在我的網(wǎng)絡(luò)中分享了簡(jiǎn)歷，主要是朋友們。我在Naukri、Shine、Timesjobs等各個(gè)地方都更新了我的簡(jiǎn)歷。

Me and My wife decided that we will first relocate to my Native Hyderabad, spending single month in Mumbai with out income is a big expense. We had small savings which will help us survive in hometown with out income for 5–6 months.

我和我的妻子決定先搬回我的家鄉(xiāng)海得拉巴，在孟買(mǎi)沒(méi)有收入地生活一個(gè)月是一筆很大的開(kāi)銷(xiāo)。我們有一些小額儲(chǔ)蓄，這將幫助我們?cè)诩亦l(xiāng)沒(méi)有收入的情況下生活5到6個(gè)月。

In 10 days, i relocated my family completely to Hyderabad. Met few friends, most of them were ready to help me financially, and few of them referred me to their companies for job.

Luckily, One of my friend gave reference for a position in his company in Hyderabad. Got a call from HR and I requested the HR to schedule my interview in 2–3 days, I prepared for interview so much as i had to crack it. never in life i prepared soo much, not even in school and college.

幸運(yùn)的是，我的一位朋友為他在海得拉巴的公司提供了一個(gè)職位的推薦。我接到了人力資源部的電話(huà)，并請(qǐng)求他們將我的面試安排在2-3天內(nèi)。我為面試做了很多準(zhǔn)備，因?yàn)槲冶仨毻ㄟ^(guò)它。我從未在生活中如此努力地準(zhǔn)備過(guò)，甚至在學(xué)校和大學(xué)時(shí)也沒(méi)有。

Finally, I went for the interview. It was a complete day process with 3 rounds.

最后，我去參加了面試。這是一個(gè)完整的一天過(guò)程，共進(jìn)行了三輪。

Luck favored me here and I had experience in all the technologies they were working on. Interview went really well. Cleared all of them and Successfully got the JOB Offer.

幸運(yùn)眷顧了我，我對(duì)他們正在使用的所有技術(shù)都有經(jīng)驗(yàn)。面試進(jìn)行得非常順利。我通過(guò)了所有面試，并成功獲得了工作機(jī)會(huì)。

In just a week time i was offered with a good hike on top of what i was earning in Mumbai. With out no second thought i have accepted it.

僅僅一周時(shí)間，我就得到了在孟買(mǎi)收入基礎(chǔ)上的大幅加薪。我毫不猶豫地接受了。

I’ve joined the new Company in Hyderabad in April 2017.

我于2017年4月加入了海得拉巴的新公司。

Now i’m in my Home Town, With my Family( Joint family), saving all the rents and other expenses i had in Mumbai. Spending almost every week end with my childhood friends.

現(xiàn)在我回到了家鄉(xiāng)，和我的家人（大家庭）在一起，節(jié)省了在孟買(mǎi)的所有租金和其他開(kāi)支。幾乎每個(gè)周末都和兒時(shí)的朋友們一起度過(guò)。

Now i think, Everything happens for a good reason!

現(xiàn)在我認(rèn)為，一切的發(fā)生都有其美好的原因！

After fired from IT company of Bangalore. I went to Manali next week. I spend 2 weeks there, i observed the people. I observed lot of people who were selling toys and keychain. They were so happy. They were living with their parents and children. I realized they were earning happiness and money was just by product. I came back to my city. I decided not to apply for Job again. I am running a small website development company from my home. I am not earning lot of money but i am so happy. I don't want to make lot of money. But i am living with my family.

But now i am my own boss. No pressure. No deadline. No formalities. No need to take permission. No need show how good i am.

但現(xiàn)在我是自己的老板。沒(méi)有壓力。沒(méi)有截止日期。沒(méi)有形式主義。不需要獲得許可。不需要展示我有多好。

I guess i am eligible to write the answer because i got fired from a Top Product based company.

I was with company for 2 years with total of 4 years experience and within that span of time i was around 1 years and 6 months in the project and got really good ratings and then things got worse , no work, after that i started working on some POC kind of things in different technology and was not so happy to work on those.

我在公司工作了2年，總共有4年的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)。在這段時(shí)間里，我大約有1年6個(gè)月的時(shí)間在項(xiàng)目中，并獲得了非常好的評(píng)價(jià)。但之后情況變?cè)懔?，沒(méi)有工作可做。之后，我開(kāi)始在不同的技術(shù)領(lǐng)域做一些概念驗(yàn)證（POC）類(lèi)的工作，但我對(duì)這些工作并不滿(mǎn)意。

Day came and they told me to resign from the company on immediate effect. As a part of formality they told me i will continue in the payroll for 2 months but can’t come to office within that time and also i can leave the company anytime before that. Except that i will get 2 months salary as a part of removal from the company . So i accepted and I resigned from my side and they took my laptop and ID card. Left for the day to my home. Informed my Brother-in-law , Sister, Mother and they told me not to worry about future. (My father is still unaware of the incident)

天亮了，他們告訴我立即從公司辭職。作為形式的一部分，他們告訴我我將在工資單上繼續(xù)保留兩個(gè)月，但在這段時(shí)間內(nèi)不能來(lái)辦公室，而且我可以在這之前隨時(shí)離開(kāi)公司。除此之外，我將獲得兩個(gè)月的工資作為被公司解雇的一部分。所以我接受了，我主動(dòng)辭職了，他們拿走了我的筆記本電腦和身份證。然后我回家去了。我通知了我的姐夫、姐姐和母親，他們告訴我不要擔(dān)心未來(lái)。（我父親仍然不知道這件事）

The same day i had a good dinner in a good restaurant and at night 12o’clk i activated my Naukri profile and slept.

同一天，我在一家不錯(cuò)的餐廳享用了一頓美味的晚餐，并在晚上12點(diǎn)激活了我的Naukri個(gè)人資料，然后睡覺(jué)了。

Next day was a Friday and i started reading and revising the works. I started getting mails and calls for interview on Friday itself. So scheduled a interview with a well known service based company because interview will be easy. So Saturday came and i reached the company, there were more than 100 people for the opening . 1st round was coding round and i was thinking that i will not be able to do as i can see 100 people standing there. Believe me after rejecting 45 candidates in the written HR was so happy to inform me that i am the first person to qualify the written test. Really i felt happy and after that 2 rounds of Technical and got sexted with a pretty good hike with them as i was from a product company. Informed that to my Mom . Now she was relaxed and congratulated me for the Job and told me to come to home town for some days. But i told i will come after some days.

第二天是星期五，我開(kāi)始閱讀和復(fù)習(xí)工作內(nèi)容。星期五當(dāng)天我就開(kāi)始收到面試的郵件和電話(huà)。于是，我安排了一場(chǎng)與一家知名服務(wù)型公司的面試，因?yàn)槊嬖嚂?huì)比較容易。星期六到了，我到達(dá)了公司，有超過(guò)100人參加了這個(gè)職位的面試。第一輪是編程測(cè)試，當(dāng)我看到有100人站在那里時(shí)，我覺(jué)得自己可能無(wú)法通過(guò)。相信我，在筆試中淘汰了45名候選人后，HR非常高興地通知我，我是第一個(gè)通過(guò)筆試的人。我真的感到很高興，之后又進(jìn)行了兩輪技術(shù)面試，并成功被選中，獲得了相當(dāng)不錯(cuò)的加薪，因?yàn)槲襾?lái)自一家產(chǎn)品公司。我把這個(gè)消息告訴了我媽媽。現(xiàn)在她放心了，并祝賀我獲得了這份工作，還讓我回家鄉(xiāng)待幾天。但我告訴她我會(huì)過(guò)幾天再回去。

Next day was Sunday . I enjoyed that day full with my friends without informing them regarding the incident. Then came Monday again i got calls and started giving interviewa . Got a call from another product based MNC and gone for the interview and was really confident that i can get that. Of course i got that with better package . Again i was looking for more and gave interviews and got sexted in 5 companies and rejected by 2 and i rejected 1 as they offered me less salary.

第二天是星期天。我和朋友們一起度過(guò)了愉快的一天，沒(méi)有告訴他們那件事。然后又是星期一，我接到了電話(huà)并開(kāi)始參加面試。我接到了另一家產(chǎn)品型跨國(guó)公司的電話(huà)，去參加了面試，并且非常有信心能夠成功。當(dāng)然，我成功了，并且獲得了更好的待遇。我繼續(xù)尋找更多機(jī)會(huì)，參加了面試，被5家公司選中，被2家公司拒絕，我也拒絕了1家公司，因?yàn)樗麄兲峁┑男剿汀?br />
So finally by Friday i was with 5 offers in my hand . That’s just 6 working days after i got fired and i have 5 offers in my hand with lot better package than what the old company was paying me . Decided to join the product company which i gave on Monday .

終于在周五時(shí)，我手頭有了5個(gè)offer。這僅僅是在我被解雇后的6個(gè)工作日，而我手頭有了5個(gè)offer，待遇比舊公司提供的要好得多。我決定加入周一面試的那家產(chǎn)品公司。

Now i decided to travel to my hometown for 1 month and after coming back i will join. Then days passed and after more than one month i joined the company and happily with them with better work and better salary. Also i got a good remuneration from the old company .Thankful they fired me!!

現(xiàn)在我決定回老家旅行一個(gè)月，回來(lái)后再加入公司。日子一天天過(guò)去，一個(gè)多月后我加入了公司，并且很開(kāi)心地和他們一起工作，有了更好的工作和更高的薪水。而且我還從舊公司得到了一筆不錯(cuò)的補(bǔ)償。感謝他們解雇了我??！

So what i learned is self esteem and motivation . Don’t loose hope and keep learning . The company fired me because they have no work for me not that i was bad. After leaving that company the industry is so large that there are many who are eagerly waiting to take you in there company.

所以我學(xué)到的是自尊和動(dòng)力。不要失去希望，繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)。公司解雇我是因?yàn)樗麄儧](méi)有工作給我，而不是因?yàn)槲也缓?。離開(kāi)那家公司后，這個(gè)行業(yè)如此之大，有很多人都在熱切地等待著你加入他們的公司。

My life was full of struggles after got fired from an IT company. But yes, learn a lot from the situation. I was working for a MNC in Bangalore and got fired with 15 days’ notice and 2 months’ salary due to cost cutting bull shit reason.

When I got fired, we were expecting our second child and my wife was carrying 7 months pregnancy. My wife got mild heart attack after the first delivery and we are not supposed to go for second. But fortunately or unfortunately, second pregnancy happened. First three months went with dilemma whether to continue or not. Then we decided to continue under the supervision of best Cardio and Gynecologist in Bangalore which was pretty expensive.

Due to the above situation, I didn’t disclose to my better half about my fire issue. I used to go out in office time with lunch box and use to sit in cricket ground or park or anywhere to spend my 8 hours of time. Somehow, I spend my two months of time and by the GOD grace, we got blessed with a baby boy. I was not working, so no mediclaim and all cost was paid by own pocket which was approx. 2 Lakh. Which was very very huge amount for an unemployed person.

由于上述情況，我沒(méi)有向我的另一半透露我的火災(zāi)問(wèn)題。我經(jīng)常在上班時(shí)間帶著午餐盒出去，坐在板球場(chǎng)或公園里，或者任何地方度過(guò)我的8小時(shí)。不知怎么的，我度過(guò)了兩個(gè)月的時(shí)間，在上帝的恩典下，我們得到了一個(gè)男嬰的祝福。我沒(méi)有工作，所以沒(méi)有醫(yī)療保險(xiǎn)，所有的費(fèi)用都是自己支付的，大約20萬(wàn)盧比。對(duì)于一個(gè)失業(yè)的人來(lái)說(shuō)，這是一筆非常非常大的金額。

I have disclosed about my unemployment to my wife after the delivery happened. Then we decided that family will go to my parent’s place and I will focus on my job search. And then we executed the same.

Then my extensive job search starts and again next 2 months gone without any final success. Cleared all 6-7 rounds of interview for two MNCs and finally budget constraints came and didn’t get any offer letter in my hand. After 4 months of unemployment, went for a mental depression and struggled for my existence.

To overcome my depression and financial condition, I started working as a delivery guy in swiggy and two wheeler driver in Rapido. I use to work from morning 7 to 12 night. Then cooking dinner for self and sleep for 4 hours. I met lot of positive as well as negative people in my struggle journey.

為了克服我的抑郁和財(cái)務(wù)困境，我開(kāi)始在Swiggy做送餐員，并在Rapido做兩輪車(chē)司機(jī)。我通常從早上7點(diǎn)工作到晚上12點(diǎn)。然后為自己做晚餐，睡4個(gè)小時(shí)。在我的奮斗旅程中，我遇到了很多積極和消極的人。

Finally, I got an offer from a Manufacturing MNC and my struggle got over after 8 months. I felt relief like a baby delivery after 8/9 months. Finally, baby came out. J

One of my seniors from college got fired from his IT company. That was during the pandemic when ironically the IT market in India was booming and anyone could supposedly get entry into tech easily. But the MNC giant he was working with suffered huge losses despite “having” huge number of projects in their pipeline.

So he took the risk and invested portion of his savings to open an edtech company. No he was not aiming to be super big like other giants in the space. His business model was simple. He would teach 5 trending skills to experienced professionals only and charge them in the range of 20,000 rupees to 1 lakh rupees for a course lasting no more than 6 months. He started a new batch of 20 learners every month. Given the depth of conceptual clarity I saw in him, I can attest that his students would get their foundation built in 3 months itself if they work as per his instructions. Today after paying al the expenses and taxes, he makes more than what he earnt as a team lead. He does not want to go back to working for someone else ever again.

Experienced professionals are not naive either. Well he succeeded in this coaching business because of his strong technical fundamentals something which is evidently missing in majority of tech professionals.

In the year 2001, on a kind-of-nippy Oct morning, I left home for my office, at Legato Systems India (now EMC), Delhi. My office was in STP, Software Tech Park, Okhla, Delhi.

I had a customer call at 8 AM so I reached office early. Only the last evening, we were told that there is a ‘All Hands’ at Hyatt Regency, Vasant Vihar. Everyone was to report there and I think we pooled together and headed for Hyatt. It wasn’t far from our office at Okhla.

In 2000, there was very little internet and no smart-phones, infact cells phones were a big luxury. I did have one Nokia brick, since my friend worked for Airtel who arranged an old device and I won the SIM card (Essar SIM, anyone remember) at a quiz at IMT, Ghaziabad, representing Legato (What an irony).

We reach Hyatt Regency, probably the most expensive hotel at that time in Delhi, and are ushered in a hall having a speaker phone. We realise that our India head (Mr. P K Gupta, still with EMC) is there too, who was in US the prev week, and we all are patiently listening to someone tops. After the usual thank yous we are told that most of us are getting Fired. Wow. First time in life. I was all of 27, and had just bought my first car (a red WagonR). We were then told that we can not go back to work, there is a new security team who won't allow us and that we would be given a 30 minute slot to pick our stuff over next 2–3 days. wow wow.

By then, there were a lot of moist eyes. Till then, we only knew that most of us are fired and just a few of us have their jobs intact and that too only for 3 months (If I recall correctly, we later came to know that those few got an opportunity to move to US, not fair but anyway, no hard feelings)

In 2000, India was still a completely old world India. There was someone whose wedding was to happen, then there were these young bright fellas who we hired recently (4 months back) from places like IT-BHU. It was quite morbid after a while. Some broke down, some broke down more. A few of us, kept our nerve, or at least faked to keep our nerve and requested everyone to have the most expensive meal of our careers, on the house by Legato Systems. I know the joke was on us but what the hell. Lets eat and we figure out a way to get out of this.

In those dark, tall halls of Hyatt, eating an elaborate five star lunch after being fired, quite a funny feeling. A thousand nights passed by over that single meal in our heads.

It was decided that we would create a yahoo-group (yeah, it was the best way to communicate in a group, no Facebook or Whasapp then) and take it from there.

我們決定創(chuàng)建一個(gè)雅虎群組（是的，當(dāng)時(shí)這是在群組中交流的最佳方式，那時(shí)還沒(méi)有Facebook或WhatsApp），然后從那里開(kāi)始。

I would leave the details but I went back home by evening, called up my (now wife) who didn't believe , called up all the friends who I could. Called up my parents (Bihar). I was to visit home next month so not only I had to tell them that I am not visiting but more on why I am not visiting. They seemed much more reassured (or may be they faked better) and that I should look for a job and it shall pass.

Next day, I was standing in this queue at Brahmaputra Complex, Sector 29, Noida at Railway Reservation Centre, remember I told you that internet was barely there so no IRCTC, may be it was good that way actually. I was there to get my tickets cancelled.

第二天，我站在諾伊達(dá)29區(qū)雅魯藏布江綜合體的鐵路訂票中心排隊(duì)，記得我告訴過(guò)你，那時(shí)候幾乎沒(méi)有網(wǎng)絡(luò)，所以沒(méi)有IRCTC，也許那樣其實(shí)挺好的。我在那里是為了取消我的車(chē)票。

And I receive a call on my Nokia Brick Cell phone from a friend at Infogain. He was the HR guy at Newgen (where I worked for about three years) and came to know through another friend who was at Infofain now. He told me to screw the railway ticket, go home, shave and come for an interview as fast as I can. I did just that. That job was the most important thing for me to get. Did well, got the job. Wow. Infact I got a raise too.

我接到了來(lái)自Infogain的一位朋友的電話(huà)，他用的是諾基亞磚頭手機(jī)。他是Newgen（我在那里工作了大約三年）的人力資源負(fù)責(zé)人，通過(guò)另一位現(xiàn)在在Infofain工作的朋友得知了消息。他讓我別管火車(chē)票了，回家刮胡子，然后盡快去面試。我照做了。那份工作對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)是最重要的。我表現(xiàn)不錯(cuò)，得到了那份工作。哇，事實(shí)上我還得到了加薪。

I worked there for a month, was trying a lot of places all through, got a good job at Veritas (Pune) but they were not willing to give me any raise and by Dec 3rd week , I got an offer from Adobe Systems India (Noida).

All this wrapped up in under two months. Yes, my life changed. I am with Adobe right now (16+ years) and joined on first day of 2002. I did well and am leading a large project.

Untill recently I was working for an Indian IT major . I was a top performer and always got 25 % hike every year. But I always knew that these Indian Giants are total bullshit since they dont value innovation. Any ways coming back to the point out of no where i was given PIP . I knew now they will ask me to resign in some time . So i searched for a job got it and resigned and left within 10 days. They were happy and so was i since I got around 70 % hike and awesome work with lots of potential by the way I joined Accenture.Any ways the point is I have worked for multiple companies and one thing i can tell you is thay Indian IT MNCs suck since the culture is not of performance but bootlicking.

My case was bit wierd and different. It's a prime example to explain, nothing gonna come your way when it's not your day.

I was landed with a total of 6 offers from 6 different MNC's along with a internship from IBM ISL Labs (5 on campus+ 1 off campus). The internship happend at my final semester. They told me that it was only an internship, not a full time job. But deep inside I believed that I am gonna get a full time contract. So until the intern result is finalized I kept hold of all those 5 other offers. But then came a day where my manager told me that, well mourya you are converted to full time with a handsome 7 digit salary. I was on cloud 9, informed my parents , friends , faculty and everyone out there whom I can express. Once after these words from my manager I said no to the other 5 job offers(that was the biggest mistake). From then my happiness didn't last long. As I didn't get a call from HR regarding the offer for next 15 days, I went to my manager and asked him whether everything is alright , to which he replied -> I am sorry to say this, but there was a freeze that has happend once after my offer has been announced.

You can understand my situation from having a handsome 5 full time offers to 0 and I am on roads. I called my dad , cried and cried until there are no drops left in my eyes .

But I had a ray of hope that something gonna turn around. And within 10 days time I got an offer from IBM GTS LABS( they started it newly). But the 10 days time where I didn't have a job taught me hell lot of lessons like how the world looks like without a job in the hand.

但我仍抱有一線(xiàn)希望，認(rèn)為事情會(huì)有轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)。在10天之內(nèi)，我收到了IBM GTS LABS的offer（他們剛剛成立）。但這10天沒(méi)有工作的日子讓我學(xué)到了很多，比如沒(méi)有工作在手時(shí)，世界是什么樣子的。

If someone had lesser years of experience, then they would be eager to find a new job. For people with less experience the jobs would be in plenty, however the experience wouldn't be good so people of this sort get tensed in finding a new job

如果某人工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)較少，那么他們會(huì)急于找到一份新工作。對(duì)于經(jīng)驗(yàn)較少的人來(lái)說(shuō)，工作機(jī)會(huì)很多，但經(jīng)驗(yàn)可能不夠好，因此這類(lèi)人在找新工作時(shí)會(huì)感到緊張。

For people with lot of years of experience, they usually take a break as they would have back up already and hence travel to some destination they always wanted to go. However the jobs at this level are bit lesser and their job search would be a bit tough but if there is a demand for the skills they have they get calls even before they try that much.

At any experience level, having a profile on lixedIn with good connections can really help and also trying to be in touch with ex managers etc helps a lot in job search. It's an uncomfortable situation for all but staying prepared for it is always the best.

無(wú)論經(jīng)驗(yàn)水平如何，擁有一個(gè)擁有良好聯(lián)系的lixedIn個(gè)人資料確實(shí)會(huì)有所幫助，同時(shí)與前任經(jīng)理等保持聯(lián)系也對(duì)求職有很大幫助。這對(duì)所有人來(lái)說(shuō)都是一個(gè)不舒服的情況，但始終保持準(zhǔn)備是最好的。

Get certified in all the certifications that are relevant to your skills not because to show off but certifications provide credibility.

獲取與你的技能相關(guān)的所有認(rèn)證，不是為了炫耀，而是因?yàn)檎J(rèn)證提供了可信度。

Whenever you get calls from a recruiter once in a while try to attempt the interview. Not suggesting that you keep switching or attend interview to waste time of others but once ina while giving interviews gives you confidence and switching jobs gives your courage to face with adversities of a job change.
